NASA’s Orion Launch Scrubbed yesterday due to too much wind, a boat, and valve problems which beset the first test of the most ambitious spacecraft since Apollo.

The next attempt to launch Orion is set for today Friday December 5th, 2014 at 7:05 A.M. (13:05 CET).

NASA announced at their news conference yesterday at the Kennedy Space Center, should Friday's launch be scrubbed, the launch would have to be rescheduled later this month.

Another, possibility could be that NASA may decide to skip today’s launch and make the second attempt on Saturday December 6th.

However, as of this writing, they continue to be confident that weather conditions and  the rocket will be ready for a second launch attempt on Friday.

NASA Television, via both satellite channels and Internet webcasts, will carry live coverage of the launch and mission, beginning at 6:00 A.M. EST / 13:00 CET.

The launch will also be shown live on Space.com.

Officially known as the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV), Orion is planned to take astronauts to the Moon, asteroids, and eventually to Mars.
