1. Dr. Josef Mengele (1911 - 1979)

3. Dr Harold Shipman (1946 - 2004)

In 1998, a fellow doctor complaining about the high death rate among Shipman's patients. Police investigations revealed that Dr Shipman gave excessive diamorphine to the patient. He was sentenced to 15 life sentences in a row, but committed suicide in his cell in 2004.



4. Dr. HH Holmes (1861 - 1896)


Herman Webster Mudgett aka Dr. Henry Howard Holmes is a graduate of Michigan Medical School who was one of the first serial killers in U.S. history.He opened a hotel which has been designed to meet objectives sadistic, gas pipes equipped bedrooms and a secret door.

He chose women as victims, both from employees and guests. After being tortured to death, the victim's body was taken to the basement to be dissected and used as models. 5. Dr John Bodkin Adams (1899 - 1983)

7. Dr Michael Swango (born 1954)


Michael Swango was a physician and a former U.S. marine charged with more than 60 cases of murder. His career as a serial killer in line with the practice as a doctor. Swango poisoned patients and colleagues, and was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

After his release, he changed his identity to Dr. Daniel J. Adams and returned to practice. He then fled to Zimbabwe and was again caught working as a doctor until 2000. During the trial, the prosecutor read the book notes that describe how happy he is for his crimes.



8. Dr. Marcel Petiot (1897 - 1946)
