Television ads often overwhelm us with sweet promises, that certain detergent can remove all stains in clothing. Is this true? Cornell University have conducted research on stains on clothes, here are the facts:
1. Noda is a chemical reaction between the material stain (staining agent) and fibers on clothing.
2. No clothes cleaner that can clean all kinds of stains as stains are unique.
3. The new stain occurs more easily cleaned than a long-lasting stain.
4. Media hot water or cold water depends with the type of stain that occurs. There is a stain that can easily be cleaned with hot water, there are even making soluble stains and spreads deeper into the fibers. So also with cold water.
5. There is a type of material that is so strong stain binds to the fibers so that any attempt could not succeed in removing the stain from the fiber.
