Basically form the earth's surface is always changing from time to time. Experts estimate the current form of the earth's surface to form on the surface of the earth millions of years ago is not the same. Changes in shape of the earth due to many factors which could be due to the earthquake, due to erosion, due to the movement of magma that is always moving, because of landslides, due to mining, because of human actions and many others.
